PROFILE
My name is Branon Dempsey, and I am a worship leader passionate about equipping and empowering church worship teams. With years of experience in leading worship, mentoring others, and fostering creativity, my heart is dedicated to helping teams grow spiritually, musically, and relationally. Worship is more than a role—it’s a calling, and I find joy in walking alongside teams to inspire excellence and authenticity in their ministry.
EXPERIENCE
Branon Dempsey is a prominent leader in the worship community, recognized as the founder and CEO of Worship Team Training (WorshipTeamTraining.com) and Worship Team Training University (WTTU.co). In addition to his leadership roles, he serves as a worship leader within his local church. Branon's educational credentials include a Master of Divinity in Worship Theology and Worship Arts and a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Performance, emphasizing worship leader training through Maranatha and Integrity Music.
TEACHER-INSTRUCTOR
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Branon has successfully led worship, instructed music, and created training resources that have reached more than 1,000 churches both in-person and virtual workshops. His instructional works also include churches in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, South America, and West Africa. As a Training Partner with Yamaha Corporation of America Worship Resources and a contributing member of the Expert Panel and writing team for Shure Microphones, he offers his expertise on various platforms. Branon also served as an educator and instructor at the Christian Musician Summit, and is a contributing author to Worship Musician Magazine.
AUTHOR
As a notable devotional writer for Bible.com YouVersion and a bestselling author and educator with Faithlife (Logos Bibles), Branon is skilled in developing impactful worship teaching and training materials. His Worship Team Training Devotional Series on YouVersion features titles such as "The Journey of a Worshiper" and his latest autobiography, "Facing The Storm." Furthermore, he spearheads the "Your Story Matters" initiative, aimed at empowering individuals to appreciate the significance of their survival stories.
