Training Director / CEO

Branon Dempsey

Branon is the founder and CEO of Worship Team Training (WorshipTeamTrianing.com) and Worship Team Training University (WTTU.co). He holds an M.Div in Worship Theology and Worship Arts, along with a Bachelors of Music in Composition and Performance, along with an emphasis in worship leader training by Maranatha and Integrity Music.

Personal Profile

Branon has led worship, taught music and written training publications for twenty-five years, and has taught over 1,000 churches across the United States. His training material and books are also used through-out Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, South America and West Africa. He is a Training Partner with Yamaha Corporation of America | Worship Resources, and serves on the Expert Panel and writing team for Shure Microphones. He is an instructor with Christian Musician Summit and columnist for Worship Musician Magazine.

Besides writing music, Branon is also a devotional writer for Bible.com Youversion and selling author / teacher with Faithlife (Logos Bibles) for worship teaching and training material. He is the author of the Worship Team Training Devotional Series on Youversion, including "The Heart of a Worshipper," The Priority of Worship," "The Journey of a Worshiper," new in-the-works book, "Confessions of a Worship Leader," and his soon to be released autobiography "Facing The Shadows."

Branon Dempsey responded to God's call to ministry in 1993 to help connect people to Christ through worship ministry. God led Branon to establish For His Music (2002) and Worship Team Training (2004), through the support of great friends, partners and churches. The purpose of Worship Team Training is to inspire, nurture and encourage effective worship leading team skills, while fostering healthy relationships through the power team synergy for the call of honoring God while serving His Church. Today WTT is committed to grow along-side of church worship teams, as we serve thousands of churches and worship teams across the country.

With over twenty-five years of leading worship and teaching worship theology, music and songwriting for churches, Branon works with churches ranging from 500 to 5,000 members. Branon has had the opportunity to train and study worship at Maranatha! Music as well as some of the most well-known churches in the country, including Coast Hills Church, and Saddleback Church, where Rick Warren is pastor.

With certifications from DISC / LEAD, The Birkman Method and Myers Briggs, Branon provides Worship Team Training the unique ability to help individuals understand their personality, their learning style and their spiritual maturity, which, in turn, helps the individuals sharpen their quality development and gain the needed confidence to reach the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10; Philippians 3:14).

Additional relationships include in being an Artist/Teacher Endorsee with Yamaha Music, D’Addario, Line 6, Kyser Worship Division, Promark Drumsticks, Christian Musician / Worship Musician Summit, Loop Community, Proclaim Church Presentation Software, Jim Hewett Guitars and a speaking-partner with Compassion International. Writing/content contributor to Christian Copyright Solver, Technologies for Worship Magazine, Loop Community, Worship Links, Lift Up Your Day, Religious Product News, Mark Condon / iClub Worship and former content manager/audio producer with PraiseCharts. He also works with Major Music Publishers in the Industry for teaching/demonstrating music for Capitol Records, EMI and Vineyard Music.

Branon is married to his high school sweetheart, with two children, and serves as worship pastor in their local church in Austin, Texas.
